Class 83 No. 83009 stands at Euston on 15th April 1988, in use for empty stock movements. The loco still had the old style pantograph. Formerly E3031, it was one of the last two 83's to survive, being withdrawn in March 1989 and was cut up in Glasgow in August 1993.
