Grand Central were obviously having operational problems on 11th November 2009, the afternoon Sunderland to King's Cross service starting it's journey south from York's No. 7 bay platform with the 14.10 departure for the capital. The power cars were Class 43 No. 43084 leading with 43065 at the rear.
