Battery loco ASF 9, waits its next task as No 232 173-5 waits to come on to the turntable at Blankenburg Shed on the Rübleandbahn on 14th May 1994. The shed was the home depot of the unique DR Class 251 electrics, Class 171s under DB, which worked the isolated electric line from Blankenburg to Königshütte. The 232s then handled the freight on the rest of the former Halberstadt Blankenburg Eisenbahn line to Halberstadt and beyond.
