A1SLT class A1 4-6-2 no 60163 Tornado reverses onto the turntable inside Barrow Hill shed on 17th October 2009. Barrow Hill had hosted a very successful private event for the A1SLT's covenanters following the annual convention held at a nearby hotel that morning. Note that the locomotive's chime whistle is now mounted much lower down than previously inboard of the right hand side smoke deflector. In the right hand background is the only preserved example of A. H. Peppercorn's A2 class Pacific, no 60532 Blue Peter.
