A very gloomy evening with heavy rain provides an atmospheric image of class A3 "Flying Scotsman" as she powers away through the Sheffield suburbs at Attercliffe Road in September 1973, with the Bulmers Cider train. Attercliffe Road station served an industrial part of Sheffield and, although closed many years ago, part of the wooden platform still remains.
