The Great Central Railway held a tank engine mini-gala on August 15th & 16th 2009, but the first round trip of the day was still scheduled to be diesel hauled. In this instance BR-Sulzer Class 45 No. D123 Leicestershire & Derbyshire Yeomanry did the honours. The train is seen about to depart from Loughborough Central on Saturday August 15th 2009.
