Merseyrail EMU class 502, vehicle numbers 28361 and 29896. This EMU was with the National Railway Museum, which they were going to scrap. The 502 Preservation Group did a deal with the NRM to take it under the group's wings to restore the unit. Tebay is the temporary storage location for the class 502 EMU unit a more secure location can be found. Photo taken on 2nd August 2009.
