Due to problems at Stoke tunnel on the morning of 25 July 2009, southbound services to Kings Cross were delayed, resulting in further delays to late morning northbound trains. The 10.00 "Flying Scotsman" to Glasgow was 35 minutes late passing Grantham headed by 91119.
