A rare beast by any standards, DBAG Nos 719-001, 720-001 and 719-501 wait in Magdeburg Hbf for the route to Leipzig on the 18th May 2009. This one off Class 719.1 Ultrasound Test Train set, was built by the DB in 1995 and was exhibited at the Hannover fair the following year. It was meant to replace a Class 719.0 set, a modified Class 614 DMU, but it is reported has still being in service.
