Sitting just outside the CSX Transflo terminal in Greenville, SC on Saturday, 2 May 2009 is EMD GP40-2 no. 6388. A total of 871 of these locomotives were built between 1972 and 1986. Power is provided by an EMD 645E3 16-cylinder engine which generates 3000hp.
