LMS 4-6-0 No 6100 Royal Scot stands on a low loader at Bishops Lydeard station WSR on the morning of 22nd March 2009. It had had an eventful and protracted journey from Crewe. Clearly visible on the buffer beam, front footstep and cylinder casing are the scorch marks it received following a fire that occurred whilst the locomotive was being transported down the M5.
