With the completion of the Bradway tunnel repairs passenger services between Sheffield and Chesterfield no longer have to use the freight line past Barrow Hill. On 14th December 2008 Cross Country class 43 No 43384 (43301 at the rear) approach Chesterfield with an Edinburgh to Plymouth service.
