The village of Eckington NE Derbyshire just two-miles from Barrow Hill is used to low loaders carrying all manner of engines to the Roundhouse. Here No. D9016 'Gordon Highlander' eases it's way through the parked cars of the afternoon school run on 7th November 2008. The loco has recently been purchased by DRS and is to undergo a full overhaul.
