Running about 30 minutes late on Saturday July 19th 2008, West Coast Railways Class 57 No. 57601 approaches Pont Sarn Crossing on the South Wales Main line with train 1Z55, John Fishwick's Mid-Wales Borderer excursion from Blackpool North to Cardiff. The train's advertised motive power, Deltic No. 55022 Royal Scots Grey, is attached at the rear, indicating that the train had had to reverse after coming off the Heart of Wales line before it could head east.
