In the summer of 2007, engineering works on the line between Coventry and Birmingham meant Virgin West Coast services between London Euston and Wolverhampton were diverted to run along the non-electrified line between Nuneaton and Birmingham. Seen passing Washwood Heath yard is 57314, hauling 90020 on 1G09, the 11:00 London Euston-Wolverhampton. 5th August 2007.
