RAILMOTOR HEADS TO LOOE IN NOVEMBER

The ex-Great Western Railway Steam Railmotor No. 93 will be operating on the Looe Branch on Sundays 4th & 11th November. The event will be sponsored by First Great Western and the services of trains operated by the West Coast Railway Company.


The 104 year old vehicle which has been subject to an extensive re-build will operate five return journeys on each day between Liskeard and Looe, with departures from Liskeard at 08.30, 10.30, 12.30, 14.30 and 16.30. the estimated journey time is 40 minutes each way. The train operation is subject to final approval by the Office of Rail regulation.

The cost of a return journey between Liskeard and Looe is £25 and can be booked online at www.ticketweb.co.uk or by telephone at 08444 771000 (note: booking fees apply). Each working can carry 54 passengers, so early booking is recommended.
