Class 507 trainsets 507001 and 507023 Operations Inspector Stuart Mason made a Farewell tour of Merseyrails Northern Lines on 3rd November 2024 to mark the end of Class 507 operations with Merseyrail. The trainsets are noted at rest at Ormskirk where opportunities for photography was made available before departure to Sandhills where the train reversed to visit the Kirkby branch.
