Class 45 No. 45138 is seen at Leeds on 22nd October 1986 with Class 47 No. 47617 University of Stirling which it has just removed from the 06.10 Liverpool Lime Street - Newcastle service. The Class 47 had failed between Stalybridge and Huddersfield and the Peak had been dispatched from Holbeck Depot to rescue the failure. No. 45138 was reattached to the train and continued north around 75 minutes late.
