In July 2024 the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway held a gala event to celebrate 60 years since the introduction of the Class 14 fleet to service. A visit to Wirksworth on 27th July noted No. D9523 coupled to Class 122 No. 55006 after their arrival with a shuttle service from Ravenstor.
