The three Class 08/9 were specially converted with cut down cabs to replace ageing Class 03 on the Burry Port and Gweandreath branch in Wales in the early 1908s. Two of the three, No. 08991 Kidwelly and 08992 Gweandreath are seen stabled at Llanelli on 20th May 1986 between duties.
