On a very warm afternoon on 31st July 2024, Colas Class 37/0 No. 37254 ‘Cardiff Canton' is noted at Willington hauling failed 37/4 No. 37418 and observation coach ‘Caroline' No. 975025 back to Derby RTC from Crewe where the Loram '37' was declared a failure. The Colas loco had worked 'light engine' to Crewe for the rescue earlier in the morning.
