Class 43 Power Cars No. 43303 and 43274, both in Cross Country livery with Colas branding, pass Hatton, Derbyshire, on 25th July 2024 with the 18:14 Derby RTC to Manchester and Liverpool areas overnight, then returning to Derby RTC, infrastructure monitoring working. Class 3 Derby RTC workings are usually powered by a Class 37 with a DBSO, but the use of Colas Rail Class 43s on Class 3 workings is likely to be more commonplace in the future.
