The Midland Railway-Butterley are temporarily unable to use the run-around loop at Riddings, until points are moved to overcome the lack of action by the local council on a repair to a stone arch, so services are stopped when reaching Riddings with the engine running into the loop start and then Class 08 No. 08590 hauling the coaches forward until the train engine can access the other end of the train. No. 08590 is seen at Riddings on 29th June 2024.
