Having had a recent works visit, LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No. 48317 stands on Kirkby in Ashfield (16E) MPD on 22nd July 1966. It was transferred to Trafford Park (9E) in February 1967 and to Heaton Mersey (9F) in March 1968 and immediate withdrawl!
