GBRf Class 73 No. 73109 'Battle of Britain 80th Anniversary' approaches Liphook on 9th May 2024 working 08.55 Eastleigh to Waterloo comprising the LUL 4TC Set with GBRf Class 69 No. 69002 tailing. This was the first leg of a loco and stock move to the Swanage Railway for its diesel gala. The second leg from Waterloo would see the 69 leading with Crompton Class 33 No. 33012 becoming the train locomotive from Woking Junction.
