On 3rd May 2023, Class 52 No. 54487, built in 1943, stands at Leipzig. Since 1992, this locomotive has belonged to the Eisenbahnmuseum Bayerischer Bahnhof zu Leipzig club and often is in platform 24 at Leipzig with other preserved vehicles.
