XC Class 220 No. 220008 departs Doncaster crossing the ECML heading for Sheffield on 22nd February 2024, forming the 10.35 Newcastle to Reading service. In the 2025 timetable it is expected that the past full every hour service from Newcastle to Reading and beyond will be reinstated as before being very spasmodic at the moment.
