Holidaymakers take an interest in Class 47/4 No. 47587 as it passes alongside the sea wall at Spray Point, near Teignmouth on 17th June 1989, heading the 0845 Paddington to Penzance service. No. 47547 was retired in 1996, but survived until being cut up at Ron Hull Jnr, Rotherham in 2005.
