On 21st May 1980, a former Class 445 four car set, now redesignated as Class 935 No. 056, stands idle in Wimbledon Park Depot. By this stage of its life, the unit was used for departmental purposes and in June 1980 it was moved to the Railway Technical Centre at Derby. It never carried the Class 935 number prefix.
