An unusual sight on the Castle Donington freight line on 13th December 2023 was EMR Class 220 Meridian DMU No. 222007 on 10:32 London St. Pancras International to Sheffield service, diverted due to flooding at Draycott near Derby, seen approaching Stenson under Watson's Bridge, and having to reverse at Stenson Junction. Later services were not diverted as Network Rail had pumped the water away from the track.
