In its last few weeks working Transpennine Express services Class 68 No. 68025 ‘Superb'waits to depart from York on 29th November 2023 with the delayed 1135 Manchester Piccadilly-Scarborough service, Transpennine services were heavily delayed or cancelled for most of the day on the North route because of a Broken rail in the Slaithwaite area.
