Holidaymakers cast an eye on Network South East-liveried Class 50 No. 50048 'Dauntless' as it passes along the sea front at Dawlish on 18th June 1989, heading the 1125 Paignton to Waterloo service. Withdrawn two years later No. 50048 met its end at MC Metals, Glasgow in 1992.
