Blue-liveried Class 31/1 No. 31297 passes Redcar Central on 13th May 1983, working a Bsc Skinningrove-Tees Yard Billet train. This station was built by the North Eastern Railway, opening on 5th June 1846, and the Goods Shed in the back ground, still stands all in red paint.
