ETH-fitted Class 45/1 No. 45111 Grenedier Guardsman, passes Rotherham Masborough on 30th August 1983, powering the 09:50 Newcastle-Poole service. Compared with the cramped Voyager train of today, 11 coaches must have given plenty of space. I think today's passengers are getting a worse service!
