Northern Class 158 No. 158905 arrives at rainy Hellifield on 19th September 2023 with the 13.18 Leeds - Carlisle service and passes DCR Class 56 No. 56091 Driver Wayne Gaskell waiting to depart as the 14.34 driver training run to Farrington Junction. The Class 56 was in the area for several days engaged in driver training on the Ribble Valley line and beyond to Blea Moor in connection with a new flow from Ribblehead Virtual Quarry which DCR will be operating.
