Cross Country HST set XC02 with Class 43 No. 43008 leading and classmate 43007 on the rear awaits departure from Plymouth with the 16:27 service for Leeds on 18th September 2023. Complete with ‘High Speed Train Farewell' headboard this was Cross Country's last HST on a regular service. As the station departure board said ***END of an ERA 1982 - 2023***.
