West Coast Railways Class 47 No. 47746 Chris Fudge 29.7.70 - 22.6.10 stands at Preston on 17th June 2023, with the Northern Belle Promoted Settle and Carlisle Steam Special from Leeds to Carlisle. Class 57 No. 57313 Scarborough Castle was on the rear. The duff was replaced at Carnforth by Class 40 No. D345, due to the non-availability of a steam locomotive.
