With Kendal in the background, ex LMS 'Royal Scot' 4-6-0 No. 46115 'Scots Guardsman' heads north to Appleby via Carlisle on 3rd June 2023 with 'The Cumbrian Mountain Express' which the loco had taken over at Carnforth.The train returned to London later in the day via the Settle and Carlisle route and Preston.
