Gateshead (GD) allocated Class 46 No. 46027 heads the Heaton to Manchester Red Bank sidings empty newspaper vans through Ulleskelf on 10th April 1982. No. 46027 was withdrawn in 1984 and disposed of by V Berry, Leicester in 1986.
