NSW Class C38 Streamlined Pacific No. 3801 was the first in-class built by Clyde Engineering in 1943 an is undoubtedly Australia's most famous steam locomotive, having uniquely visited all mainline states and territories in its history. No. 3801 is currently undergoing maintenance at the NSW Workshop in Thirlmere, where it is seen on 18th April 2023.
