The zero fare City Circle tram route No. 35 in Melbourne is handled by a small group of Class W trams built in Melbourne from 1923. The original Class W trams were the mainstay of Melbourne trams for over 60 years. Here, drop-centre saloon W8 tram No. W8. 888, refurbished in 2020, passes the front of St. Paul's Cathedral Melbourne on 16th April 2023.
