DRS Class 66/4 No. 66431 toils up the climb to Shap with the 11.57 Daventry - Mossend containers on 18th April 2023. A single Class 66 is at its limit handling this service and 66431 lost 19 minutes against its schedule between here and Shap Summit. Heading in the opposite direction, Colas Class 56s No. 56113 and 56049 Robin of Templecombe can be glimpsed on the 14.04 Carlisle Yard - Chirk loaded timber working.
