Sat in the possesion outside Ravenstruther is Direct Rail Services Class 68 No. 68002 'Intrepid' with a rake of IEA and JNA ballast wagons. Throughout the morning and afternoon, the 68 would make its way towards Carstairs station where it would be unloaded as a part of the Carstairs modernisation project before heading back to base at Carlisle New Yard on 25th March 2023.
