At Syston station on 2nd March 2023, Class 50 No. 50007 ‘Hercules', with No. 50034 still on one side of the loco, is seen hauling a new Hitachi Class 805 No. 805001, to Old Dalby from Oxley CS. The unit has previously undergone testing on the West Coast mainline with classmate No. 805003.
