On the 10th February 2023, GBRF Class 69 locomotives head through Addingford, Horbury, towards Tuebrook Sidings from Peterborough Depot. Class 69 No. 69003 'The Railway Observer' os believed to be undertaking banking duties at Liverpool, replacing LSL Class 57/0 No. 57003, while classmates Nos. 69001 'Mayflower' and 69006 are destined to return to Longport for modifications.
