In the hands of Renatus-upgraded Class 321/3 until 23rd December 2022, and with their off-lease storage imminent, it was over to the new kids on the block, the Bombardier/Alstom Class 720s. The new units were to take over the Harwich Town - Manningtree hourly service from 24th December 2022, and here No. 720543 arrives into Harwich International on that day.
