Following the redeployment of Class 68 traction to normally operated Class 88 workings to combat rail adhesion issues on the WCML, DRS has in turn deployed Class 88s onto RHTT workings from Carlisle. on 4th November 2022, Class 88 No. 88003 Genesis passes Hellifield with the 11.30 RHTT working from Carlisle Kingmoor which has just traversed the route from Carnforth and will now proceed to Blackburn. Classmate No. 88005 Minerva was on the rear.
