The tide in Montrose Basin is well out, on 27th September 2022, s Class 43 No. 43131 (with classmate No. 43142 on the rear) arrives with the 08.30 Edinburgh Waverley to Aberdeen. Waiting to head south, once the single line is clear, are Class 43s Nos. 43183 and 43146 on the 09.44 Aberden to Glasgow Queen Street. In the siding is Class 158 No. 158714.
