The first departure from Sheringham on 27th August 2022, the start of the Bank Holiday Weekend, was S&D 7F No. 53809 on the 10.00 to Holt. This was originally to be the Gala but with the fire risk it was postponed till October but three locos were running service trains for the three days limited to four coaches.
