LMS Royal Scot Class 7P No. 46115 Scots Guardsman passing the semaphore signal at Howsham crossing heading the 16:41 Scarborough to Carnforth. The 4-6-0 was in charge of the returning second of three Scarborough Spa Express of 2022, run by the West Coast Railway Company Ltd from Scarborough back to Carnforth.
This 11 coach passenger train was steam hauled, unasssisted all the way from coast to coast.
